What We’re Using

Say Yay

Why You Need This App Before Tomorrow: Say Yay is perfect for figuring out who best represents your views for tomorrow’s election. Stay informed. Make a plan. Go vote.

How To Get Started: Download “Say Yay” on the app store. Fill in your address. Pick your political party affiliation. Take the “Where You Stand” quiz. Upon completion, it will ask if you’d like to register to vote or if you’re already registered. You’ll then be brought to to the homepage where you can see upcoming elections, your ballot, and an overview of where you align on certain issues.

Why You Should Carry One With You: Cold season is coming. You need to be washing regularly before the flu hits the office. Take a bottle with you. Leave one at your desk. You can get it in sizes ranging from 2-oz to gallon sized bottles so it’s nomad worker and family friendly. Scrub up!

Added Bonus: It’s 100% biodegradable and packaged in a 100% post-consumer recycled bottle!

What We’re Listening To

Noise Canceling Headphones

Why You Need a Pair: If you remember, this isn’t the first time you’re hearing of these. See: Pump up the Volume at Your Own Risk. “The WHO (World Health Organization) estimates that over 1 billion people are in danger of hearing loss from listening to audio devices (that includes your phone) for more than 90 minutes a day.” Do yourself a favor and get one of these headphones for ear’s sake!

Sony WH-1000XM2: With a battery life of 10 hours, these bad boys will get you through a long day at the office and for under $350. P.S. they have ambient noise mode that’ll only allow in mid-to-high frequency tones and quick attention mode for briefly letting outside noise in when you need to tune into the outer world without taking your headphones off. Oh yes.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II: Again, under $350. Except these have a battery life of over 20 hours and Google Assistant! All the greatness Bose QuietComfort 35 but with even more. The holidays are coming; we know what we’re asking for!
