“I just try to live every day as if I've deliberately come back to this one day to enjoy it as if it was the full final day of my extraordinary life.” ― About Time

How We’re Remembering Our Days

1SE

Since February, we’ve been tracking one second of every day with mobile app 1SE. The app has you take a one second video everyday that you can then mash up to watch your full year in review. How does this relate to work? Well because sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that we forget all of the magical, yet seemingly insignificant moments that make up a life. Don’t take a single moment for granted.

How We’re Doodling

Moleskine Flow

For all you designer types out there – we’re looking at you. This app allows you to draw, sketch, and doodle, with the option to sync and backup your designs automatically. You can trial it for free for a short period and then if you like it, you can go all in. We’re not Picasso or anything, but we can get down with the ease of drawing a diagram or two for a presentation on the subway.

How We’re Finding New Talent

Upwork

If you’re a freelancer looking for work or someone looking for a side hustle and you haven’t heard of Upwork yet – here’s the rundown. Go to their website. Create a profile. Spice it up by adding all of those special skills that make you rock. Click on “Find Work”. Search for your job of interest. Set your rate. Apply. And there you have it. Payment, messaging, and hiring are all done through the website. It’s just that simple to start earning.

And if you’re on the flip side and looking to hire, we can’t say enough good things about hiring via Upwork. It’s simple, pain free, and good talent awaits you. Happy hunting!
