Hello Workwell

Hello Workwell started as an email that I was sending to clients and friends. I was trying to make it easy to find high-quality ‘work’ things - from books to classes to apps and “alternative” work wellness practices - that people could incorporate into their work lives. It was also a way for me to creatively channel work-related questions and experiences outside of my day-to-day job. There is so much out there about how to be ‘successful’ at your job but I felt the conversation was shallow, millions of headlines that begin with, “The Best …” or “The Most Successful People …” My goal was, and remains, to share stories, start conversations, and curate things that can foster a feeling of curiosity and genuine excitement about learning how to work well.

Hello Workwell is young and has a lot of growing to do — in what it offers, the stories that are told, and the impact it can have the day-to-day working lives of people — and I can’t tell you how excited I am to see what happens next.

In gratitude, Lydia

We believe in the broad definition of work: something done or made. Everyone does, everyone makes. We believe that you work with your body, mind and soul and we believe in doing that well. We also believe that change is necessary to grow, and that everyone’s work has value.

We also believe that less is more and quality has a greater impact than quantity which is why we’re dedicated to creating, curating and recommending things — tangible and intangible — that can make a significant positive personal, professional, and social impact.
